The Hotel

Minami Con 18 will be held at the Novotel Hotel in Southampton. The Novotel Hotel has been home to the convention since Minami Con 3 and is ideally situated within 3 minutes walking distance from the Southampton Central train station. Please use the Hotel Booking Form for Minami Con 18 provided by our Registration Officer to book your rooms in order to qualify for the following rates (per room per night):

The Novotel has 121 rooms of which 4 rooms are reduced mobility rooms. There is a private outdoor parking compound.

Ibis Hotel

The Ibis Hotel is an alternative on-site hotel but due the hotel's accounts being managed separately, we are unable to incude it in our hotel booking form. There are 93 rooms available at the Ibis and there have been recent renovation work at the hotel as well. The room rates tend to be around £70 per room per night.

Etap Hotel

The Etap is the latest addition to the on-site accommodation but due the hotel's accounts being managed separately, we are unable to incude it in our hotel booking form. There are 124 rooms available at the Etap. Room rates at the Etap start from £37 per room per night. It is a very basic no-frills budget hotel, so don't expect anything more for the price you are paying.

By Train

There are trains leaving from Waterloo Station in Central London for Southampton Central Station every 15 minutes on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, trains run every 30 minutes from Southampton Central Station back to London Waterloo. The journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. You can run a search for train times through the South West Trains website.
